What’s all the BUZZ about malaria?
Every year, 350-500 million people are infected with malaria, and over one million of those infected die from the disease most of whom are refugee children. In Africa, a child dies every 30 seconds from malaria. Bed nets work by creating a protective barrier against mosquitoes at night. MLS W.O.R.K.S. and national spokesperson Dwayne De Rosario of Toronto FC support the Nothing But Nets campaign in the fight against malaria.

Meet MLS W.O.R.K.S. All-Star Kevin Vernimb
Kevin is a 14-year old from Bernardsville, NJ. He has been raising funds to send bed nets to Africa through the Nothing But Nets campaign for 2 years – setting up a Netraiser Team, selling golf balls, and educating his friends and family about the campaign. To date, he has raised $10,200!
